The Shocking Uselessness of UK Retail Bank IT

I've just been trying to deal with Nationwide through their on-site messaging system. (The self-service part of the site I wanted to use has been broken for months.) They needed to ask me for the number of my only current account, as well as my address and date of birth.

Someone, somewhere, needs to try harder!
